Hello Faculty! My research is on Malignant Hyperthermia and whether or not we can predict it accurately. May I ask some questions?
- MH is rare. In your extensive experience, have you ever personally encountered a patient with MH either through pre-screening or during surgery?
- What has been your preferred method of screening for MH? How do you decide if pt is acceptable for surgery or too risky to continue without first doing a muscle biopsy and/or DNA testing?
