What is your GPA (Grade Point Average)? It depends on how you measure it.
Your GPA is measured in 4 different ways:
- Cumulative Undergraduate Grade Point Average – this is a measurement of EVERY college or university class you’ve ever taken in the United States, for any reason. It is usually calculated for you and shows up automatically on your official transcripts. Or, you can calculate your Cumulative GPA here.
- Science or Prerequisite GPA – the classes included in this GPA will vary from school to school. Calculate your Science GPA
- Nursing GPA: Though your performance in science and prerequisite courses is more indicative of your CRNA school success, some schools will consider your collective GPA in nursing courses. Calculate your nursing GPA
- Last 60 units GPA: Some programs will more heavily consider the last 60 units of your GPA. This is to your benefit when you have done poorly in your initial college experience, but have improved since. There are a little over 20 schools that weigh the last 60 units as more important than the cumulative GPA. Use the School Finder to identify these schools.
